Grumpy (not so) old man time

It has been quite foggy here in Grantham in the last few days. Not seriously foggy, just a bit of fog.

Rule 226 of the highway code (you know, the document we all read when we took our tests but can't even find now let alone remember what's in it) makes it clear that headlights and fog lights are for use when the visibility is less than 100m (109.36 yards if you can't do metric).

It has been nowhere near that bad this week.

So, please will you motorists in Grantham stop using your fog lights when it isn't that bad.

I have no desire to be blinded by your overly bright lights as I try to walk on sheets of icy pavement.

If you can't operate a car in accordance with the rules of the road then please do us all a favour and get off it!
