After playing around online for over ten years I have finally decided to get round to blogging.
Why Yellowbelly?
First, Yellowbelly is the term used for people from Lincolnshire and it is in this fine county of England that I have made my home since October 2003.
Second, I wanted something that wasn't associated with any of the formal roles I have in life. This blog isn't a place where I will speak in any of the formal roles I possess. I will not be speaking for my employer, my family, my volunteering. This is the space where I will share my own thoughts about my voyage through and observations on life.
Inevitably that will mean commenting on things from work, home, school, politics etc. but they are my thoughts, my views, my perspectives and not those of anyone else, individual or institution.
With that clear I hereby launch my foray into blogging. I hope you find something of interest or entertainment here ad I look forward to reading your own thoughts on my observations.
Welcome to blog-land, Rob! I love your keywords and the order in which you placed them. Just think. If you keep this blog going for more than a decade, your boys will gain a perspective on their father through this for-public-scrutiny diary that previous generations never had.
